We girls had a chance to make a candlelight visit to the home of one of our dear friends the other night. After a cup of yummy chai tea, we took a tour around the house, and she let us take some photos to share with you all!
Join us as we wander through her home…

We were greeted by an Old World Father Christmas
as we entered the living room. Behind him is a
hand-wrapped feather tree and next to him,
the home owner has incorporated some of her
everyday decor… a hand-painted theorem painting!

A handcrafted Angel, covered in German glass glitter
rests on an antique mirror, along with a blown glass acorn.
One of our Evergreen & Citrus candles glows in
the antique cut-glass pedestal punchbowl.

Mary and Joseph admire the Infant Jesus,
while an Angel worships from above.
Next to this scene, a Tinsel Tree is decked
with beautiful paper ornaments.

On the table, another Evergreen & Citrus candle is nestled
in a hand-blown bubble-glass ice bucket that is surrounded by
fruit and boxwood clippings. Our homeowner placed this
in a milk glass compote, and then layered it on a
aluminum plate. Great idea!

Her collection of Wicker Demijohns and antique
picture frames look festive on top of an antique primitive
cupboard! Pine adds just the right touch. The garland
calls for “S-N-O-W” and we can’t wait either.

A bronzed Belschnickle stands in the hallway among
a woodsy wreath and tiny pine tree.

A bit of Glitz can be found in every nook…
Iced branches and Bottle Brush Trees add
sparkle to this sweet corner!

Friendly… and frosty… faces are everywhere,
even in the powder room! This glitzy fellow and
the beaded garland turn the stained-glass
window into a Winter Wonderland!
A special thanks to our Hostess, who allowed us to
share these sweet vignettes from her home!
It’s so exciting to see what a creative mind can do
with items from our store!
Merry Christmas and Happy Decorating!

What a treat! Thank you for sharing this lovely, festive home…and relay our thanks to the Hostess!
